Video Peek 1.3 Released

A big update full of features and improvements, with special attention to the new tagging system. Below is the full list of changes:

  • New feature: Tag System with manual video tagging and Smart Tags
  • The Tag system can be customized or turned off via the Preferences Dialog -> Tags
  • Maximum depth level increased to better accommodate long videos
  • GIF Maker interface improved to make it easier to adjust starting time and duration
  • Added play/pause quick access to the Windows taskbar for Peek Player
  • Implemented additional file operations: move and copy a video file from inside Video Peek
  • The Peek Player seek bar has been revamped with a taller design for easier seeking
  • When hovering over Peek Player’s seek bar, the preview thumbnail is now live/animated
  • Added full screen mode to Video Peek
  • Fixed tiny gaps that would show between moments at certain window dimensions
  • Better interface responsiveness when loading each moment and hovering over them
  • Video orientation is now represented with an icon alongside the resolution in the status bar
  • In addition to black frames, white frames will also be skipped whenever possible
  • Added option to disable background video processing in the General settings tab
  • Improved the responsiveness of the seek bar preview thumbnail on Peek Player
  • Memory compression enabled for systems with low virtual memory available
  • Fixed a bug where files with uppercase extensions would not load when drag-and-dropping
  • Improved the handling of hover loop preview for heavy videos
  • Bugfixes and other general improvements
