This update focuses on performance, but also includes new features.
These are the highlights of the new version:
- Performance – Engine – Hardware acceleration implemented. Speed improvements will be significant on most computers;
- Performance – RAM memory usage up to 50% less than the previous release (excluding Peek Player);
- Performance – A cache system was implemented and previously opened videos will now load faster;
- Interface – When hovering a moment, the expanded preview will now respect the video’s original aspect ratio. Especially useful for better visualizing vertical videos;
- Interface – Peek Player – Implemented a “preferences” dialogue for better control and customization;
- Usability – Peek Player – It is now possible to take snapshots by clicking the toolbar shortcut or pressing the corresponding hotkey and having the images saved automatically, without a prompt;
- New Feature: Segment Zoom tool – Select two moments and see a detailed breakdown between them;
- Bugfix – Improved license authentication system fixes intermittent license deactivations that happened on a small subset of machines;

- Usability – Peek Player – It is now possible to take snapshots by clicking the toolbar shortcut or pressing the corresponding hotkey and having the images saved automatically, without a prompt;
- Usability – Thumbnail Exporter – Added a setting to automatically determine the number of thumbnails based on the video length. Useful for when exporting batch thumbnails with the recursive setting;
- New Feature: Segment Zoom tool – Select two moments and see a detailed breakdown between them;
- Bugfix – Improved license authentication system fixes intermittent license deactivations that happened on a small subset of machines;
- Bugfix – Peek Player – When saving a snapshot from PeekPlayer, other images in the directory were not showing;
- Bugfix – Fixed representation of resolution label (SD, HD, FHD, 4K…) for vertical videos;
- Bugfix – Further moments would not buffer in the background after an auto-depth switch;
- Several other bug fixes.
